Have your pet spayed or neutered.

Make sure your pet has a complete medical exam by a veterinarian at least once a year.

Thousands of cats/dogs die each year because there is no one to adopt them. Before going to a breeder or a pet store, take a peek at all the available cuties at the Humane Society first.   Save a life!

Each year, countless animals die in cosmetic and household products tests in the US despite the fact that neither the US Food and Drug Administration nor the US Consumer Product Safety Commission require companies to test these products on animals. Some companies have successfully replaced animal tests with non-animal test methods, including cell cultures, chemical assays, literature searches and other sophisticated means. Not only are these methods more ethical, they may be more easily reproduced — a vital component to product safety testing — and in the final analysis may even prove to be more cost-effective.
